Sanctus is a multimedia piece where choreography and video animation meet. Using a tiny square space of light – an area that demarcates opposing forces – Sanctus is a game with strict rules and extremely organized timetables. Movements; in and out of this small square space; participate in a fictional world where reality and imagination are mixed and new realities of life are formed. Sanctus is an environment that encourages the viewer to leap from one idea to the next in a series of provocative juxtapositions that present alternatives to conventional hierarchies.
